Power-up your ship collecting loot boxes and shoot everything before it becomes a bullet hell!

Master the controls:

Press X to shoot, release for item magnet

Hold C to shield, tap it for bomb.

You can adjust game volume with keys O and P.

Orbit Jam is a two-month university project and will be "finished" around February 2nd.  It's also my very first Java program, and you can check the full code on my Github  at https://github.com/dafuce/OrbitJam . In case you are interested, everything I did or borrowed is free to use (CC0) or CC-3 (author mention).
